My favorite subject of this semester is Staging Workshop 3, as the name implies, they teach us to carry out a staging. In the previous level of this subject, the staging was theatrical, but this semester is audiovisual, so they have taught us all the previous work to carry out small projects such as a nanometry and even the largest, such as a movie or television series.
First they showed us the different positions that exist in the audiovisual production: Director, Producer, Art Director, Director of Photography, Sound Manager, assistants for all of them, among many others.
After being clear about what each area is responsible for, we learned what each one should do and in what order to achieve a successful shoot, since there is a lot to do and people to coordinate. Among those things, are the reading and the breakdown of the script, choosing the locations, making the costumes for the characters, coordinating the time of the actors with the locations available for each day and many more that I would not finish listing.
I liked this subject a lot because I love to watching series and movies, also I always liked to see behind the scenes to know how they were doing them, so now I understand much more of all that and each class surprised me with everything they should take into account to make the shoot.
Wow! That workshop looks very interesting, it's great! (✿◠‿◠)
